Hey there!

I’m so happy you found this page and want to know more.

I’m here because I want to do work that matters. I also like to make “money stuff” FUN. If you were to be a fly on the wall in my sessions, you’d see laughing, joking, tears, and even prayer during heavy life moments.

Being in retail coffee for 11 years prior to coaching, I had never started a business before. I started my business in April 2020 after staying home with my babies for a year. I learned the hard way that it mattered a GREAT deal how I organized & prioritized my personal and business finances.

After losing sleep and stressing over fluctuating income, I created a repeatable flow that I now teach to other self-employed business owners. It’s called the Pay Yourself First Method. Think of it like a modified version of Profit First mixed with the YNAB method.

I’ve redefined what it means to “pay yourself first” and help fellow business owners/1099 folks give themselves a raise and create consistency with their income even when their revenue goes down (and up). This translates to less burnout and a sustainably profitable business model.

On the personal finance side, I’ve also conquered debt (by the grace of God). My husband and I paid off $145,000 of debt in 4 years 9 months (mostly student loans!), and it felt like it would take forever. Looking back, we’re grateful we put in the hard work and now I get to help others have more freedom and options too.

I have a BA in Organizational Leadership and completed my financial coaching training through Dave Ramsey’s FCMT (Financial Coach Master Training) program. In addition, I am a YNAB Certified Coach (and formerly a Ramsey Preferred Financial Coach). I help clients use a variety of spending plans but mostly YNAB (it’s the best out there, I’ve looked) to effectively manage their money. In my free time, I love to spend time with my family, serve at my church, and take care of my house plants!

Talking about your finances is super personal. I get it! We don’t just do that with anybody. I enjoy working closely with people to learn what’s going on under the surface, create a safe space for them, and also serve as an accountability partner. If you’re married, this process can help you to both get on the same page with money and create a shared vision.

I work with clients virtually, but if you’re near, I am available to meet in Mcminnville, OR at my office. I meet with potential clients via free Zoom consultations and would love to hear how I may be able to support you or put you in touch with the right resources.
